Cubist Pharmaceuticals had acquired Optimer Pharmaceuticals at the end of 2013 and employed C&W GLSPG to execute on a sublease disposition for the first quarter of 2014.  Cubist wanted to reduce the sublease exposure as quickly as possible, while achieving maximum sublease proceeds.  C&W conduced a pre-marketing campaign ahead of formally listing the building, and created a competitive bid environment for this off-market opportunity.  In under 30 days, C&W helped Cubist secure a full term, quality subtenant paying near Cubist’s contract rate. A win-win for Cubist and its subtenant.
