San Diego Life Sciences startups have access to a form of financial aid that many other regions do not, and that is the large pool of angle investors and Venture Capital firms that occupy the area. However, recent concern has risen regarding the proposal to cut $1.2 billion from the medical-research agency, says Ted Jacobs, Senior director of global life-sciences practice group for Cushman & Wakefield San Diego.
